DNS servers

Hi,

We are hosting raincode.co.uk on the web hosting package included with our adsl. I'm not sure what to make the authoritave name servers. In an email showing our hosting account details, it says ns*.r5x.com for 'names servers' but in a support request ticket dns*.adsl24.co.uk was mentioned.


What is the difference between dns*.adsl24.co.uk and ns*.r5x.com?

Is it also possible to change the zone file/add A records?

Hi,

Please go to the company whom you purchased the domain from and change the DNS details to the Adsl24 DNS we provided.

The R5X DNS are alternatives.

You dont need to change the zone files just the DNS details at your registrar.
