user: [myname]@[myuser].adsl24.co.uk
pass: [mypass]

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: B4 Logic Ltd - signed forms', Account: 'mail.solari.adsl24.co.uk', Server: 'mail.solari.adsl24.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B

for POP and SMTP..

Any ideas? :S

I changed username so maybe this has something to do with it?

Use TLS instead of SSL.

As a test disable the security and try again.

Hrm I wasn't using SSL, just the plain old 25 and 110 ports... I tried SPA but still no joy.

It does seem to connect but just doesn't want to send. I'm sure it's something stupid, but seeing as I was with the same ISP for ages I'm probably not seeing what change is needed to get it working.

I'm using Outlook Express if that's any help?

I know this is a daft question Solari but have you ticked the box to My server requires authentication,

yorkie.

Yep, sorry. Mis-read the error message late last night.

Authentication was my next suggestion but I've been beaten to it.
