Hello,
I am syncing between 3.4mbits and 3.8 , with a pretty high target snr of 15 odd .
This was set when my line went through a bad patch months ago, and it has never come down. Before it used to connect at 11 easily.

Also, i get 3-4 resets overnight , is this normal ? During the day it is a lot more stable, connecting at 3.6 3.7 and staying there until it starts getting noisy at night again .

New copper from pole to master socket , new master socket. High quality filters, no ring wire, and even an rf choke on the line.

Thanks in advance
John

The reason the target SNR is now 15dB will be because of the dropouts you've had in tha past. BT turn the SNR profile up when the line has some bad patches, thus effectively improving the stability of the line (more SNR = more stable but = less speed).

You should not get many dropouts with such a high SNR already no. Tried it without the RF - as that (although can improve some lines) can actually be causing the problems on the line (e.g. filtering out part of the ADSL frequency).
