Hi,
Not a problem really but I have just set up an extra email account for one of my sons who visits occasionally.

I have set it up in Microsoft Outlook. Now if he wants to send an e-mail do I have to change the default temporarily so a mail can be sent in his name? Or is there another way I can do it from within the Outlook tools etc?

I should know the answer but I have not had other peoples emails on my outlook for a very long time.

Cheers

Bertie

Have you actually created the account in your Hosting cPanel first?

Once you've set it up in Outlook, when sending a new message, it has a dropdown box to choose which account to send it from, so there's no need to go into the Tools each time :)

Hi James,
Thanks for the reply. How stupid do I feel:p I have only been using computers and Microsoft Outlook for years:rolleyes:

Yes I had created a new email account.

One other question please. I went into webmail and logged into webmail using the new email login name and password but it still comes up with welcome my username. Will the mail be sent in the name of the new account although it appears to have logged me in and not under the new email account name?

Hope understand what I just typed. :D

When logging into webmail, make sure you login with the full e-mail address as username, not just "username". If yu do this, it will always send from the correct e-mail address )
