just a couple of queistions

1 i`m with virgin at present (ok don`t laugh at me feel sorry) will i have to pay to join adsl24.

2 How long from giving my mac to take off will it aprox take as my son& daughter are feed up with slow speeds at night when all of us are on at once hard trying to surf net with just over 128 speeds at night :confused:

Hi,

Thanks for the interest in Adsl24. If you request a MAC code from Virgin, your migration is then free.

The migration takes around 7 to 10 days as a norm, but the usual 7 days is tipical of a migration.

Yes i did follow the link from dslzoneuk thanks got my questions answered ok from Brian. you will be glad to know that i requested my mac code from virgin they told up to 5 days for it by email hope they keep to there word then i`m over to adsl24. ps will it be quicker toreg by phone or net???

As you're migrating, you'll have to do it by phone at present.

Due to the current demand, Brian has a call back system in place - if you leave a voicemail message when you're ready to migrate in, you'll get a call back sometime between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

BTW, I don't work for Adsl24, I'm just a moderator on these forums.

ok no probs thanks for the info you all seem helpfull in this forum it seems that a lot of prople are coming over to adsl24 hope that wont put a strian on the system.

ADSL24 are a reseller for Enternet. other resellers include UKFNS, Vivaciti, Aquiss, Freeola and Xifos.
Enternet are expanding the network to 5 pipe's (3 are currently active).
You should see a big difference in performance:D

Strain whats that, the only strain I see is when I do the usual thing every morning :)

Requested mac friday afternoon they said they would email the mac to me within five days so listen out for my phone call only strain i have is on my wallet from wife lol

ok just a update got my mac code rang this afternoon and should be with your good selves on the tue 13 jan fingers crossed so get the drinks ready mine a pint cheers..

Yea i feel like i`m in a time warp at present as virgin are pushing the bottle out tonight just done a speed test and i`m just over dial up speed and trying to run two pcs with that ps i did mean feb so 13 feb can`t come quick enough for me then i will feel like i`m back in 2007.
