Hello All

I've just moved to ADSL24 after many years with a broadband cable connection. I'm looking forward to my account being activated, hopefully tomorrow.
Anyway, been doing a good bit of looking around and gathering information on getting everything set up properly and the one thing I'm not too keen on is the default email address, it's just a bit messy in my view i.e.

name@accountname.adsl24.co.uk.

My question then is, if I purchase a domain name can I have it hosted on the free webspace that is part of my ADSL24 account and will I then be able to have an email address like:

name@domainname

If someone could explain how this could be done I'd appreciate it.

Best Wishes.
Alex

Hi Alex
I have not configured my email through ADSL24. I used the Enternet option. Although i do plan to use the ADSL24 service,I believe this is setup through the use of CPanel. You can setup email and hosting.
CPanel help (//adsl24.co.uk/support.html)

If you log onto your Enternet account you can find the option for email through them...eg name@name.entadsl.com.
Hope this helps.
regards....Cliff:)

Hi Cliff

CPanel is new to me but I had a look at the tutorials on the Adsl24 site and think I could use it to set up my mail, however I really want an easy to remember email, one without double barrelled names after the @ symbol as is the case both with entanet and adsl24.

Thats the reason I'm thinking that if Adsl24 can host a domain name of my choosing then all my emails can have that address, trouble is I don't know if this is possible.

Cheers
Alex

Simple answer is yes. We will remove your old account and in its place host your own domain in its place free of charge.

Best wishes.
