Just noticed that router shows loss of signal 6 times from about this afternoon, what exactly does that mean. One of the 4 of us has been on the net during this time and no ones said "theres no internet". Sorry if I sound thick but uptime is 2 dyas 14hrs assumed loss of signal was disconnection. 585 router.

Loss of Signal - Indicates how many times the ADSL signal was interrupted (doesn't mean it lost SYNC).
Loss of Link - Indicates how many times the ADSL connection was down.
Loss of framing - Indicates how many times the bit synchronisation was lost over the ADSL link.

Loss of framing - Indicates how many times the bit synchronisation was lost over the ADSL link.
As a matter of interest, what would cause Loss of Signal or Loss of Framing?
An inpulsive noise event usually, or a large amount of errors on the line (CRC's etc) flooding the stream and causing the router to lose SYNC.

If it lost sync, wouldn't it be reported as a Loss of Link?
