Hi all,

Not actually a customer yet as I am currently with Zen, just wanted to get an idea of how good the service / support is and must say from what I have seen so far it is spot on.

May be migrating to you soon

Regards
Brian

We are spot on and customers will vouch for that but anyway, welcome and best wishes.

Regards.

Cheers Brian,

I'm liking what I see... I'm probably being a bit over cautious as I run a mail server so need a good reliable connection with good support, and at this time a new keyboard where all the keys work 'ALL' the time. :-)

Great Community
Regards
Brian

Hi Cliff,

To be perfectly honest I have been with Zen forabut a year now and they have been perfect, no problems at all so I kind of feel guilty if it comes to leaving them. The thing is that ADSL24 can give me more for a better price it's just takng that migratory plunge.

Last time I migrated it was no issue as I was with Freedom2surf, which when I joined them they were fantastic, but when they were taken over by Pipex it went totally downhill, not so much the quality of product, but the customer service.

Regards
Brian

Hi

I was with Zen for just one month, they were absolutely fine. But like you I thought ADSL24 could give me better value. No problems in migrating from Zen. I asked and got given my MAC and called Brian at ADSL24 and signed up. All went fine on migration day. I repointed my domains to the ADSL webspace and away we went.

Only problem I have experienced is a few dropped connections, but that seems to have sorted itself out now and the speed etc is more than I expected, so no complaints from me!

Good lot here on the forums as well!

:)

it's just takng that migratory plunge.

Go for it ! - I migrated from Demon -> Pipex (Cause Demon started playing silly buggers - getting the Debt recovery people on me when my account was not in arrears pi4@ed me off a little bit)

Now from Pipex -> ADSL24/Entanet and it's painless. I too run "services" from my home which I simply didn't tell Pipex about (mainly a development web server) and as it's not a live system I have no problems in a few line drops (which can just as easily be problems with your own equipment and problems at your exchange than with the service provider).

Last time I migrated it was no issue as I was with Freedom2surf, which when I joined them they were fantastic, but when they were taken over by Pipex it went totally downhill, not so much the quality of product, but the customer service.

That's probably the reason Pipex went down hill - they were fine until they started buying up other ISP's & their customers (Freesom2surf, Bulldog, etc). I'm hoping entanet can keep up with all the migrations they seem to be getting thru resellers like ADSL24. The good thing seems to be that they are planning their future capacity in advance, rather than waiting for it all to go tit's up and (as it seems in Pipex's case) not doing anything about it.

I'm hoping for hassle free access until such time as the local exchange is LLU'd which will open up a whole load of competition, but RFS Dates for LLU companies so far keep getting pushed back :(
