Yes I would say it would be a problem the MACode is unique to your telephone line, BTw might reject it…

I'm surprised Entanet's order system accepted it. Hopefully Brian will be along shortly to clear this up.

Yeah strange that it all went threw ok,i can view the details of my order on the adsl24 control panel and its still set for 15th and enta have already setup a DD and taken first payment so i would assume its all ok but still better safe than sorry..

Are you sure? we know the lenth of MAC codes and if it's short at the time of order, we would not have accepted it into the system and normally we would of been informed by now if BT had rejected it.

if it has gone threw then maybe someone at firenet is messing around or something becuase i deff have 2 slightly diff mac codes one with 6q and one without but if it was accepted then who knows,if for some reason bt throw it back then i will have to do this all over again ho hum..

No, just provide us with your FULL MAC code and if its returned we will supply it to BT.

Problem is it will delay your migration again.

What does a MAC code look like?
All MAC codes are unique but will always follow a similar format. For example:

BBIP12345678/AB23C
FTIP3463235/AVSDG5
The start of the code with always begin with FTIP or BBIP, followed by six or eight digits, slash (/) then finally by five more digits which could be numbers or letters.

Hope this helps
