Having an issue with the other halfs PC, She is on ADSL24 with Vista Home.
First problem i noticed was to install Itunes when downloading it it would finish in seconds.. but had only downloaded 1mb when it should have downloaded like 40mb obviously it's corrupted so delete try again, same thing. So i try another download from a different website this time ZoneAlarm (so i can update it) ok that fails again.
Installed Firefox to see it can solve this issue nope, i then disabled ZoneAlarm/Reset IE settings and rebooted/checked the router settings nothing that i can there either.. but still the problem persists. My laptop is in for repair or i'd have taken that over to check the router/connection side of things.
I've downloaded Internet Download Manager and it is downloading zonealarm but the streams keep disconnecting and it has to resume them so very slow at 16kbs
Video streaming/Radio streaming plays fine just downloads.
Anyone any ideas?
