Speeds are good (5.4-6.2Mbps depends which speed test you use).Sometimes it is best to download a file and see how fast the connection is, again this can depend on which route it takes.

Speeds have increased a bit today, although they are still up and down at the moment obviously. I got a test result this morning ( about 0530 ) which showed 6.5 mb, but now its about 4 - 4.5. At least I know something is happening, which has put my mind at rest for now.
It's certainly putting my old router to the test, smoke coming out the back of it and a slipping fan belt, but it should hold up if the bakelite casing does'nt melt (joking :D )

For speed tests I use one singe site because if ya use a few it gets confusing. All I ever use and keep a note is: 100MB_nonzero.bin (http://fuller.zen.co.uk/test/100MB_nonzero.bin) and I download the top file shown (100MB_nonezero.bin) and note the speeds each time.

Talking of Films. I was sorry to hear that the local cinema that i used to go to as a kid was closing down last september.
I remember going to see Blazing Saddles (wasn't quite old enough, but they used turn a blind eye).
