We've had several calls today and people have mentioned there was a good writeup/comment of ADSL24 in the PC Pro magazine. I've got the Sept Issue and while it comments about several broadband issues I can't see any mention of ADSL24.

Does anyone subscribe to PC Pro and if so have yout received the Oct issue yet?

James

The latest issue is about "The Great Broadband Con"

It should be waiting at home for me. I'm a g33k

Fount it in Oct issue :D

After looking at a wide range of ISPs, I settled on ADSL24's Max Home 30 account. Its service flies in the face of the “typical” ISP, as outlined in The Great Broadband Con (see Issue 155, p116). Speed is consistently at the highest level my line can support, and although downloads are capped, my monthly allowance is 30GB peak and a whopping 300GB offpeak; as unlimited as one could expect for £19.95 per month. I don't experience bandwidth throttling and customer support is excellent, with the company's MD often on its forums giving advice. If all UK ISPs used ADSL24's business model, you'd be writing a completely different article.

You deserve the plaudits. Keep it up and the 3million (or is it 5million) BT customers will be knocking on your door. Being selfish, I hope not:)

I fully agree will comments here - the praise is richly deserved.

All ADSL24 peeps that frequent to forum know that James and team will be avail.

Also the ADSL24 users themselves deserve credit as we all keep each other informed and help out when we can.

Now thats what we call an ISP with service.

I hope ADSL24 grows in stature but not lose that user 1:1 contact.

Well done James and all @ ASDL24 team.

:D

Is James really Jamie Lee? and if James is King then is Realist Emperor? or Pope?

Seriously (for once) it's so nice to be a member of a real friendly community wot 'elps each uvver. Plus we get broadband, email, webspace, James/Lee and the rest of the staff/mods thrown in for free :D

Why would anyone want to be an Honorary Dave? <even more confused>I think that you have totally lost the plot and would be a lot happier in the OFT.

I don't think you'll find a better ISP for customer service.
