View Full Version : I'm going to join soon
Hi folks; I am going to join ADSL24 as soon as practically possible! I'm goin to get in touch with my present ISP, Pipex, on Monday to request a MAC code.
After doing some shopping around, this ISP looks to be about one of the best all round
Hi AORman

Hope all goes well

Hi Cliff, I'll try phoning them first and see what they say. From what other Pipex users have said they are not quick to reply to emails

Look forward to seeing you as a valued member of the family.

Cliff,
Yeah, cant wait !!, currently getting 633 kbps on Pipex and it's been like this all weekend (even with a router reboot).
Ok, I phoned Pipex and have requested my MAC code. I was told I shouuld get it within 4 working days.
The guy I spoke to thought I was with BTinternet when he said he was going to email it!!! I rapidly corrected him

Who were you with before you joined Pipex
Cliff:)
Exactly! I have been with Pipex for 4 years now and as far as I remember I think I was with BTinternet before

Explains: must have your old email address when you setup with Pipex
Maybe a good diversion tactic by Pipex...."I emailed you your Mac "
"we thought that was the correct email address".!!!!
Must be in the Tips&Tricks manual of delay tactics:D
