I'm contemplating a move from Pipex after four years and looking for an ISP that will give me a decent ping on Xbox Live. Any comments from other Live users would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about the IP addresses. I would think it depends on who was hosting / playing as most games rely on one console being the server for the eight to twelve people connected.

Hi RigidDigits, welcome to the Adsl24 forums. If another person's console is acting as a server, the RTT on a ping will depend on which ISP that person is with. Adsl24 are a reseller of Entanet, who have good peering arrangements in my experience, and do not do any traffic shaping.
