Hi i have just Migrated today:D from Aquiss:mad: . Just a quick question when i was with Aquiss my snr got put up as my line kept dropping. But now BT have fixed something at exchange but my snr is on 12db. Do i need to have my router connected for a while untill BT lower it. Or is it a case of getting BT to lower it back to 6/7db through adsl24:confused: Thankyou

You will have to go through the 10 day period if BT has reset your profile and then we can request BT to look at it.

But while your waiting, keep an eye on your stats.

Hi Brian i dont't think they rest my profile just my snr, is that the same thing:confused:

Given my recent attempts at getting my target SNR reduced, I think you'll need the patience of Job! Entanet will give you the official BT line that DLM will automatically reduce your target SNR if the quality of your line has improved, even though this doesn't appear to be true in many cases. I've decided not to pursue it any further for now, as there is a possibility that the stability of my connection may be affected by a reduction in target SNR.
