right then ive read through quite a few posts and understand about stuck profiles etc so with the speed test below is my profile stuck ?
thanks
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information. IP profile for your line is - 6500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 7968 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5792 kbps
If you wish to discuss these results please contact your ISP.

Seems about right to me but I'm sure if you provide your line stats someone with more expertise than myself could give you an approximation of what sort of speeds you can expect.

Switch interleaving off and over the next week your profile should get up to 7150 (as long as there aren't faults resulting in disconnections)

Wish I had those kind of figures :(
IP profile for your line is - 6500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 7968 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5792 kbps
That's all good - your SYNC speed is 7968 putting you on a 6500 profile (correct) and your actual download speed at that time was 5792 so pretty good.

Cheers for looking in , quick question how do i turn off interleaving ? and what gains would i get ? , ive read on here that you need to ask BT to turn it off but how do i do that ? sorry if this is a dumb question .
thanks
In the My Account pages select Order Details and change your Inteleaving Status, usually takes up to 24 hours :)
gains to turning interleaving off are normally a slightly higher sync and better online gaming ping
But can reduce reliability.....
