Been on Max for 2 weeks now, James confirmed I had a stuck profile on Monday morning and informed BT of this. My question is how long does it take BT to press a few buttons to reset my profile?

Not quite that simple. Some profiles are reset within a few days but others may take a few weeks. Once we report it to BT we have to wait for someone (who understands what a stuck profile is) to pick it up.

BT have to headhunt a special team of elite button pressers, train them and induct them, and ensure that there are detailed health and safety procedures laid out in case of any hot tea and Hob-Nobs incidents:D:D

So the time frame can vary, depending on the agility of the button pressers fingers, the size of their teamugs, and the temperature of the tea.:D:D

Sorry....I couldn't help that...just kiddin':D:D

Not having had this problem myself, I can't say, but I do know from reading these forums that this can vary alot from a couple of days to maybe even 10? Bummer:(

Hope you get sorted real soon:):)

EDIT : Sorry James...took me a while to type that...multitasking here: didn't know you had replied with a much more professional answer.:D:D

We've had some that have taken weeks and weeks no matter how many times we call BT. If we get someone that's clued up, it's done within 30mins but if not, it's a waiting game

Thanks tinyclanger glad to see somebody can make me laugh about it...... but I have a feeling you have an inside knowledge of the workings of BT :D:D:D:D

When I migrated in my profile was stuck and BT actually sent an Openreach engineer out to fix it. Of course he couldn't and ended up having to phone back to the office to get it sorted. He even had to borrow my phone to make the call!

...as long as he didn't borrow your Hob-Nobs:D
