Mobile Phones and cashback offers.

just a word of warning regarding mobile phones and cashback offers....

i got a phone from a company called CSS Mobiles, they made a quite generous cashback offer. problem is, trying to get the cashback from them.

so far I recived 1 payment, back in January, supposed to get another one in may and and another one in August.... I am stll arguing with them to get the second payment off them, and now the third one is overdue too...

just started legal ation against them.....

If it's too good to be true, it normally is. ;)

Even if you do get the cashback the prices are bumped a bit so you're still paying for it.

the offer i got was 40 quid a month, unlimited texts, 600 min anytime anynetwork min...

it was a 18 month contract, and 16 months cashback.....

i will get the cash, unless they go bust, but they put every obstical in the way to stop you.... first point was they gave you 7 days from the date of my bill to send it in to them. but as this was unreasonable, it is covered by the unreasonable contracts act..... OFCOM have now given new guidelines that they must give 60 days to get bills sent in, and copies are to be acceptable...
