View Full Version : Getting through to sales
I'm thinking of migrating to ADSL24, but when I try to phone the number, as indicated on the web site, and select sales, I get a difficult to hear recorded message, asking me to leave my details. Several hours later and I have not been called back. Now, an hour or two here or there is of no real consequence, but my concern is, if ADSL24 can't even get enough people on the sales desk, what chance is there for support.
Please dont dispair in anyway, Iam here but busy and will return all calls as soon as possible.
Regards,
Topcat, Brian will phone you, maybe at a time that'll suprise you, but beleive me he WILL return the call on the same day and it's nice when you know that will happen. It maybe later in the evening but you will get it.
Oh BTW, it does depend what time he finishes his shift at the "Pot Noodle Mines" too :D :D
I noticed that the option to start the migration process online on the site is not available despite it saying
Migrating your ADSL broadband service to ADSL24 is free, easy or a click of a mouse, even a phone call away -
There's a lot of helpful info on the site which is good to see but the pedant in me is compelled to draw your attention to the following incorrect spelling of intention
BUT, once you have used our services, we believe that our customers are loyal and have no intension of moving on.
There's another typo somewhere but I can't find it at the mo. I know these are just small details but they can potentially put some people off if they consider a similar lack of attention will be reflected in other areas.
Did I call you back?
I have one number left thats not answering?
Typo errors corrected :)

Also the other one I spotted same page was: your should be "you're"
Migrating your ADSL broadband service to ADSL24 is free, easy its just a phone call away - we do not charge any migration or activation fee providing your not on a LLU exchange.

Ooohhhh!!! missed the typo here eh! only one 'i' please.
Anyway the english language is being anhialated all the time, I mean how many time do you see:-
I wouldn't want to loose that. loose in english = something that isn't tight, it's spelled LOSE. does my head in that one. I don't think we can blame the yanks for this one either.
Now a couple that leave me bewildered:-
Anythink, somethink, oh and one I saw on a forum, "I need to buy some new thinks first"
And yes, I am a pedantic sod :D :D
