It was bound to happen

You may chuck hundreds of millions into a club, and buy throphies for a few years, but then the wheels will fall off. The players dont know each other, there is no backbone to the club, and because the russian billionaire paid all the money, he acts like the manager when he likes, and jose is just a pen pusher.

Well done jose, soo many teams out there treat you alot better, I hope chelsea wither away now, and it shows all these billionaires looking to buy football clubs, and buy the champions league and so on, it doesnt happen. A team starts from the roots.

Over and Out

Come on coventry, we can take chelsea's place in the prem, theyll become another leeds.

I'm glad that the team I support is owned by local people, and the Supporter's Trust own a reasonable amount of the shares, and are hoping to buy more. The Supporters Trust also have a director on the board. It's of course still possible that a rich outsider will try and buy in, but there will be resistance.

The Villan

Well I am glad I am a Villa supporter. I think Randy Lerner is a shrewd business man who is backing MON and letting him get on with it.
Unfortunately Chelsea couldn't do that. Morinho is a very good manager and has made a few other managers sit up and look over their shoulders.
I wouldn't like to be a manager, with somebody else deciding who I will manage. It doesn't work. He got paid a lot of money for acting as a front man. He is best out of it.
English football is the loser.
As for Coventry in the premiership :D:D:D

I think Martin Jol will be nervous, though he seems the type of bloke to just handle whatever comes pretty well.
