Well I'm as happy as a pig in $hit !
Migration took place today and I'm no longer with Pipex :) - god what a great feeling it is. My NNTP downloads are no longer being throttled and I'm getting the kind of speeds I used to get on an evening in the good old days.
This is what the internet used to be and should be like - BLISS
I've got a sync of 5664 kbps which is about right for this time of night and the fact that I'm using an extension (need to get my wireless adapters sorted out to the router can go back into the master socket) and am getting nntp download speeds of 3520 kpbs - last night on Pipex it was - wait for it - 20 kbps - that's right slower than using a dial-up modem.
So glad I made the switch to Entanet via ADSL24.
ps - just rated you on http://www.dslzoneuk.net/ - if more of the new customers did I'm sure we can get you back to #1 where u belong.
Time for some feedback on http://www.dslzoneuk.net/
