...newbie time...

My new e-mail addresses have a 10Mb Quota by default. I now have three in total since coming on line with ADSL24 yesterday, and I've set them all to 'Unlimited' - is this OK...any issues with this?

Thanks.

No none at all, the qouta comes from your available space anyway.

...which is 200 MB, yes? Just wondered why it was set at 10Mb for an e-mail account which seemed low to me...??

You can set it to what you want it set at.

You can always increase it as and when needed.

Email accounts often give 3 limits. Is this true for ADSL24?
a) The storage space (I am hoping that this is the "quota" which I can set for myself)
b) The maximum attachment size. It says "50M" on the Squirrel Compose page. Does this mean that I can add attachments to give a total sent size of 50MB? (not that I want to!)
c) The number of addresses that I can send to in one go (I.e. what is the max number of addresses I can put in the "To" box before something nasty happens)

Hmm! A bit of late night experimenting suggests that the "Max 50M" on the squirrel compose page should read "Max 5MB"? Or is it referring to something completely different!

SquirrelMail should allow you to send an attachment of up to 50 MB in size.

... something is limiting me to under 5MB. Over, and the attachment is stripped off but the email goes through.

... I am still with Plusnet!

Are you sure it's not a limitation of the email account you're sending to?

I'll have a play later and see what's up!
