Im having a lot of problems with my ISP [PLUSNET] at the moment, with Speed issues,my line is capable of 6500kpbs,Im getting up to 2000 in the day[off peak]and 200 to 600kbps at night[peak]DONT LAUGH,I know its funny.I was getting up to 6500 in the day and up to 4000 at night up until 2 weeks ago, everyone on Plusnet is complaining and looking to get out,but some cant as they have equipment belonging to plusnet and have to stay for 12 mnths.
Will I see better speeds than above by joining ADSL24???.
I would like to hear your HONEST Opinions of ADSL24.

Many Thanks
Frav

HONESTLY Frav, I would not even look at another provider, they have all got to be inferior to what we have here. You could not wish for a more friendly, personal and responsive ISP. Brian has a good thing going here.

Speedwise, unless you have a serious line problem, you won't get speeds that low, at all.

Good luck

Hi Frav, welcome to the Adsl24 forums. You'll see the maximum speed your line is capable of most of the time. There is an anti-loss tool which kicks in to prevent packet loss when a central is reaching maximum utilisation - this usually happens at the beginning of the off peak period on weekdays, and at occasions during the weekends. Entanet have got 2 more centrals on order to keep up with demand, unlike PlusNet who keep on messing with their Ellacoyas to cram more and more users on the same number of centrals.

I've been delighted with the service since I moved here a couple of weeks ago. Hope to be here a very long time.

Welcome to the forums. :)

Hi Frav,

I'm in the same boat, gave Brian my Plusnet MAC code last Thusday.

So I can't comment on the servce till I migrate on Friday 23/02/07. The users on this forum certainly seem a lot happier than those on the Plusnet forums!

Can't believe Plusnet tried to stiff me with £28.80 worth of "Deferred Migration Charges" - I contacted support and politely told them where to shove it. As I migrated to them with my own hardware!
