Just Migrated Today, but have a question....

Was just wondering if this is normal, or do i have a stuck BRAS profile? only migrated today and this test is from first time i've sync'd. check the results from bt speedtest below:

IP profile for your line is - 2000 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 5344 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1835 kbps

There is a 10 day 'learning' period during which the line will adapt to your best i.e. most stable rate. Also any change in connection rate can take up to 3 days to take effect on sync rate.

Yes - you need to give it a while as everyones line profile is 2000 (2Mb) to start with.

Thanks James & tonys, thought it might be that. its just last time i went onto max over a year ago, on a different line it was set higher from the start. ohh wel. thanks for the good support/service so far!

Just to let you know, now syncing at 4900 & profile has risen to 4000 :D not bad to say its a 3.5 - 4km line
