Hi ,

I have been activated for a week now on my new ADSL24 Max service but have had no increase in speed. I have a long line so not expecting miracles but was expecting at least 1 to 1.5 Meg. My router is syncing at 1792 and my SNR seems OK at 6.5 during the day and drops to 5 in the evening. My ADSL account Max report says my IP profile is 1500 so why does the bt speedtester give me the attached result

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 1792 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 457 kbps

My profile on the speedtester has shown 500 from day 1 and has not changed.

I was on a fixed 512 service with my previous ISP.

Something does not seem right can anyone please enlighten me. I know there is a 10 day training period for Max. but surely I should have had some sort of increase.

Well i have been without a connection at all for over a week, well i have a connection but it is slower than dial up........................yes seriously.

I am awaiting with baited breath as to when i'll be back up and running but to be honest it wouldn't suprise me if it was still like this on Monday as nobody seems to be able to answer my questions

Got to say the connection since moving to ADSL24 has not been as reliable as when I was with F2S. Not blaming ADSL24 but I think Entanet comes into the frame somewhere in all this. Hey but at least I have a connection. Is someone going to sort out hezzbollah and get his connection to where it should be?

Not the experience of many ex-F2S refugees here - quite the opposite in fact for many........... But in what way has ADSL24 not been so reliable? Do tell, else the comment above actually means very little........... Many await your substantive answer with baited breath.

Period / Full Stop / End of sequence / No loop .................

At least Enta / ADSL24 will TRY to push BT into a resolution, and get just as fed up when nothing positive happens day after day.

Well surely that should be their job as there is nothing that the customer can do about it so i am relying on them pestering BT every day while i in turn pester adsl/entanet everyday to get my problem sorted

We do pester them daily other wise they would never do anything!
