Bought one of these and arrived today.

I am not going to use the wireless section at the moment, just modem.

Do I still have to have it plugged into the mains for this.

Yes otherwise its not going to work ;)

Its like having an electric cooker, without electricity you cannot use the oven even if you only want it for the grill :)
