I just registered with William Hill, but they suspended my account til I pop in-branch and show Age Verification. :rolleyes: Quick enough to let me deposit money though.

Anyway.. I also play pokerroom.com - great graphically and nice and easy to follow.

Anyone else play.. real-money or play-money.. and where?

Poker is a great game, there's no cheaters or unfair advantages at all. It's just you against others.

its been my primary source of income for several years now, but like any job i view it as just that and derive little enjoyment from the daily grind of cash games. Tournaments are still a good source of enjoyment for me but in terms of reliable cash they just dont cut it (well for me anyway) - i'll take a few grand bonus now and then though ;)

As for which sites, i'd prefer not to say where i play, but i would say that it is very important to find a site where you are comfortable.

And a question for villain - am i the 'they' that you refer to [i.e. a shark] or is that the houses rake to which you refer?

The rake is a real pain, although there are several sites that offer rakeback deals and one that offers rake free poker as a loss leader for its sportsbook side. Thinking about how much i pay a year in rake does make me feel a little sick Certainly puts the cost of the broadband into perspective! :)

I play a good bit of on line poker.

Love it and hate it from time to time. When it's good it's great. When the cards don't come it's really frustrating.

Play only on Gutshot now. I had a deposit code that gave me 100% extra on top of my original deposit.
