Lewis Hamilton..... "I'm going to leave the UK co's I can't have a quiet life in England........I can't even go to the petrol station without being bothered".......nothing to do with the tax breaks then you whinging little prick ? It's called 'fame and popularity' and kinda goes hand in hand with the sport.
Lifted from Holy Moly but i do agree:D

I don't.
They do a job, just like most people and as such people should respect their privacy when they are not at work.
Wher he lives is up to him. Good luck to him, he is young and living abroad will do him a lot of good. I recommend living abroad to all younger people, before you get old and decrepid and can't do it anymore.

Even if it is the tax thing, it is his business, not ours. Its his life and he should do what he beleives in.
I think he is a smashing bloke who seems to have a level head and has been brought up with respect and his father is a great guy in looking after his son.
I wish a few parents in this country would take a leaf out of their book.
Good luck to the lad and may he be world champion next time around.

i look at it this way..... over a 10 year racing career, he will save himself about 100,000,000 in tax....
i would be going to live abroad in a more clement climate to save that sort of cash
and on the other front... he has become a very popular sporting icon in a very short time.... how to deal with the fame and the pressure that comes with it will have come down on him very hard.... he had no time to slowly ease into it...
he should be allowed to have a private life, he should be able to leave his house and go for a drive without getting harassed...
personally, if i see any celebrities while i am out and about, a nod and a smile is enough... just acknowledge the celebrity status....

I agree with Villan. He's worked hard and achieved a great deal. Why should he have the gutter press following his every movement - it's not "public interest", it's public prurience. As for taxes, he's following in the footsteps of many others.
Our tax system doesn't encourage British high achievers to live here but it does encourage foreign multi-billionaires who pay little or nothing for the privilege.

True enough. I'm afraid he's following the long British sporting tradition of coming a gallant second. However, he's got the talent to come first and I hope he makes it next year.
This lad has raw talent, And to do what he did in his first year is just out of this world. Celebs need there space just like anybody else does, And if it is to do with taxes, Hell yeah i would move out of this contry too.

the lads won basically everything he's competed in and finished second in his first season in f1 how anyone can question his pedigree must be living on another planet
