8128/832 sync but 6500 profile

My broadband connection has been unstuck in the last half hour! Yes.

Thanks either to James, support@enta.net or MrSaffron, as you were all trying to get this done for me. (previously stuck at 2000 on an excellent line).

Question is: Since I have been synched at 8128 / 832 constantly for over a fortnight, why do I have an IP profile of 6500 and not 7150?

Some might say I should be grateful for what I have, but I feel with my line stats, I should be running at 100%.

Comments please?

My profile got stuck at 6500 after interleaving was turned off. It took an age before BT got around to sorting it & I had to endure 6 weeks of weirdness before I finally got my 7150 which I've now had since early March. I got the impression that this problem was about as common as hens' teeth. :)

yes im having the same problem as you kenneth stuck at 6500 but my sync is 8128 its been like that for 3 weeks now.i was also stuck at 2000 with my last isp it took 5 months to unstick it to 6500 it seems to happen when you have very good lines like us will have to raise another ticket me think
