I have a domain hosted at 1and1 and I am happy with them as I use them for email. What I would like to do is to point a subdomain I created www.mydomain.com to my ADSL24 webspace. I would like to do this in DNS not in frames or redirects. Is it possible to just CNAME to my webspace?
If possible I would like to keep the automatically generated domain from ADSL24.

I have done something similiar with blogger. I set up blog.mydomain.com, in the DNS had CNAME point to ghs.google.com, told google about it and now blog.mydomain.com uses my blogger page.

Many thanks

I have just tried out having CNAME i.e www.mydomain.com CNAME username.adsl24.co.uk, but it comes back with my home IP address, not the webspace.

Hi

You need to go into the DNS settings for your domain and as you say, create a CNAME for sub.domain.com to user.adsl24.co.uk - then tell us what your subdomain is so we can add it on our system.
