Didn't see this post....

I have the same trouble though mine has only been in the last 2 months.

Could this be a gaming thing as I play WoW and its kicking me off constantly, when running overnight for downloads the connection barely drops.

Currently experimenting with....

Can you provide more information? The dropouts are to do with your line dropping connection the the exchange - we can't control that. Have you tried the router in the BT test socket? And tried another router etc?

I had loads of trouble with a netgear dg834 when I had interleaving switched off. It kept resyncing every 20-30mins or so. It was even worse when the central heating was switched on, must be like the street light thing.

I put interleaving on again and it is far better and probably resyncs maybe once a day. Old house old lines, so thats fine with me and the 30ms ping from 20ms doesn't have much of an effect with gaming.

Did you try the router in the BT test socket for a few days, with a new/tested filter?

well i seem to have found my problem i think. I took off the face plate and put my filter in the test socket and since then ...

Your current live session length is 16 hrs 51 mins 24 secs

Will one of them new face plates be ok with the built in filter?

Yes, that's what I've done and hasn't dropped since.
