Having problems here trying to set up my email addy. Cannot access the control panel to do so.
the login window appears I have entered my username and password and nothing happens, is this because my mirgration isn't done yet.
I have entered the username given for the router or modem and also entered the Domain name, neither work.
help please.
raceylady, I had the same problem last night but now I'm in!
Your username is *only* the part before this @adsl24.co.uk. In other words do not include that part. So if your Domain:raceylady.adsl24.co.uk, just use raceylady.

No sorry no joy for me, still cannot access, click login and then it just disappears from the boxes, but no other page nothing I'm afraid.
Well I have just logged into your Entanets panel and the Adsl24's panel using your details and both work 100000% so its something your doing.
Remember:
Entanet Control Panel
http://www.adsl24.co.uk/entenet.JPG
Uses these details:
Adsl24 Website Frontpage Control Panel Button
If you need to access your broadband stats, see your billing details, setup direct debit or card payments etc, please visit our website front page and click the customer control panel, this can only be accessed on or after your activation date.
Please use your first part of your ADSL login details e.g.: abc123@adsl.enta.net and in this case you would use abc123 as the username and use the password provided above.
And:
Adsl24 cPanel
http://www.adsl24.co.uk/cpanel.JPG
Uses these details:
New Account Info
+===================================+
| Domain: **************.adsl24.co.uk
| Ip: **.***.**.*** (n)
| HasCgi: y
| UserName: ********
|Password: ********
Two different panels that use the same username BUT different passwords. All it takes is to read the email we have sent out caerfully.

It works OK for me. Have you tried using a different browser to see whether that makes a difference?

It worked fine earlier this morning, I just think this is tiscali as its a http address. Tiscali dont like them.
Well be shot of them on Wed.
Just set up my email on outlook express just hope it works now. Wasnt so sure about what to enter in the username box, it says the username given by isp, but seem to have been given a few. I used the account name.
As my tiscali one I must admit a lot simpler.

The cPanel username is the same as the username that appears immediately after the @ sign in your Adsl24 email address.

Woooo how do I do that please, is it on control panel on my pc.
Read this: https://helpdesk.jetnet.aa.com/knowbase/root/public/aa_bb9167.htm
How do I clear the temporary Internet files
for users of Internet Explorer 7

Thanks for your help. I didn't realise clearing cache was the same as temporary interenet files, I do this on a regular basis anyway, which was yesterday. But did again just now.
The log in did eventually load but loggin in I will probably have to wait so long.
I am sure its not my pc or indeed the page has an error or anything of that nature. I am positive it is tiscali not giving access to http secure sites again, this is a regular occurrence for them especially weekends, as is online gaming, that was very problematic this afternoon
Why did you think I'm leaving them:)
I will most probably get access in their more easily on a week day.
Oh roll on Wed. mirgration day.

Eventually got in just a minute ago, just needed the manual settings for OE which I think I have now managed to do.
All set for Wed now, cant wait.
hi all, currently also making the switch from tiscali to adsl24 and have just received my activation details with my webspace details/control panel username and password details but when i go to enter them in the site it says they are incorrect, i've followed the e-mail to the letter so any help would be great:confused:
Which control panel are you logging in to?
The "My account" and Hosting control panel login is your ADSL username minus everything after and including the @
So if it was tibul@adsllogin.co.uk the username is just tibul, and the password is always the same for all control panels we have...
James
Trying to log into the cpanel for hosting, when i try and log in with
tibul as my name and then my password in the password box.
It just says login attempt failed.
I can log into my account fine though.
This has been fixed. It was a small bug affecting spaces in your password.
James
Works fine now, thanks for the great service :D
