Hi all,
Just migrated from PLUSNET to ADSL24 (last friday) and so far so good. In fact i'm very impressed. PLUSNET's traffic shaping and usage policies were becoming a joke. they even charged me £54 to leave even though I had been with them over 12 months. They said it was 'deffered charges' for the FREE modem and activation i signed up for when I joined. What a scam!
Anyway I am very happy so far with ADSL24. I do like to use USENET but try and leave bigger downloads (over +100mb) until late at night and speeds with ADLS24 have been brilliant.
I am on ADSLMAX and have a poor quality phone line (62db line att.) which means I can't go any faster than about 200kbps but so far when I do want to download on ADSL24 its been maxing out my connection which is great, and i'm now only paying £19.99 a month instead of PLUSNETs £21.99 premier service (ha! premier! are they having a laff!?!?)
Thanks ADSL24, glad to be onboard!!
