It's not just MS. Every U.S. hardware & software company screws the rest of the world, then sells the same stuff to their own at knockdown prices. B***ards, the lot of them! :mad:

Gates was asked about this in an all too polite interview by the BBC when Vista was launched. He just mumbled the usual fluff about the price being roughly the same everywhere but any variations making it something to do with exchange rates. Utter bollox.
He wasn't even challenged on this obviously incorrect and evasive reply.

Its still cheap....its taken 5 years to get it working and the updates are free for the next how many years!!.
The OEM version's are the cheaper option. I would wait till you have to buy a new PC. If you are using games like Quake, halflife etc, The direct X 10 drivers and graphics cards are still not utilized for the game engines and issues exsist.
