Hi.
Due to join the club on the 8th. I can see me making good use of this forum because I am virtually internet useless. Changing ISP's has always scared me off, but finally I got to the stage of getting so frustrated that I just had to go for it.
I have managed to set up two email address. One with entanet and the other with adsl24. Not sure why I need two, but thats the way it seemingly happened.
I think the next hurdle is to set up Outlook Express to read my emails. I watched the tutorials like a rabbit looking at car headlights. So I am still no wiser. If anyone can simply tell me the various settings I have to type in I would be really grateful.
Cheers from a damp and dismal Weymouth.
Mick.

Its easy and tales 3 seconds to setup an email address.

Anyway, welcome.

Hi bigmick & welcome to the forums. Your migration shouldn't cause you any problems and you'll be really pleased with the move, just you see. ;)

Hi Brian. Its nice to be here. My problem is not with setting up an email address - I did manage that. My concern is setting the correct parameters in Windows Outlook Express for my mail to be downloaded from Adsl24 to my PC.

I will be adding a new video tutorial soon that shows you how to create a email address in cPanel and then how to add it to outlook, all in one video.

If I can find a mike, I'll add sound as well.

well done Brian. I'm sure this will be very useful for the muffins like me. Pity its unlikely to be done in the next 6 days.

Hi bigmick, I migrated over two days ago, no hassle very simple.

And honestly if I can do it anybody can, and I'm not joking:)

OE very simple to do as long as you do exactly in the video and also there is a sample in the tips thingy on here.

I'm a nightmare and I got there with the help of the people on here, once you are over its brilliant, good speeds and connection fantastic.

See you when y ou are here.:)
