Outlook Express

Hi
Due to my PC crashing i need to set up outlook again.now i have tried a few time using the guides on here but am not getting anywhere it keeps throwing a box up with user name and password in it.Now i can just remeber having to put in a + sign some where but for the life of me i can't remeber where.If some one could just list what to type that would be great.

Put your email address in the User Name field, but replace the @ with a +.

Have tried the + but still no joy just keep getting a box come up with login adsl24 and nothing happens when you click ok just keeps coming back up.Please tell me i'm doing something simple wrong as the wife is waiting for some important emails and at this rate i will be having items removed that i don't really want removed.

Have you created a email address in cpanel...eg
name[at]username.adsl24.co.uk
And create a password for this account, not the same as the one to access cpanel

Yes i have created an email address but i can't remeber creating a password.Would this be why i keep getting the box up asking for login details.If i go back into cpanel and change the password is this the password i use when setting up outlook.Is it really this hard or is it me.i have followed the videos on here but nothing seems to work.:confused:

In Cpanel you will have the main user account..goto ADD/REMOVE/MANAGE ACCOUNTS
you will see your main login name as the main account, underneath you should have your new email address that you created. On that line click password to create password for this account.

Use the email address and this password to configure Outlook.
