Problem accessing some web sites

I am having problems accessing a few web sites. An example is:

http://www.bdm.vic.gov.au/

It is not the mtu. I have tried 1400 and 1300. I can get on the web site from work. I have tried with just windows firewall and still it does not load. I can ping the web site and it only replies once. Traceret gives a very long series of hops. When I try in firefox nothing happens for ages and it then says "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading".

Can anyone help?

Probably some lovely bogon filter problems. I tried using an anonymous proxy and it works fine. Give it a go.

Not ideal but maybe do for now. ( Enter your URL into the box and hit "Click To Surf" )

Link Works for me.
I find every couple of months or so I get this problem.
And a reset of the Router cures mine. Must bee getting bogged down with ip attacks or what ever .lol

dead as a dodo for me, and no result on pinging it either, but it does come up on a hide proxy site, so I am guessing its an IP thing.

I cannot load page - FF just says connecting and eventually times out.

Not sure if relevant, but see here (http://adsl24.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=4263) as I've had a similar problem before, now resolved. Of course you need the contact details if you're to persue this avenue.
