Hi.
AOL are still adamant they are providing me with broadband internet and demanding money.
3 weeks now i have been with ADSL... so obvoisly im with ADSL24.
I got my MAC code off AOL and cancelled and had to pay the £47 to get AOL's crappy equipment off my line(so surely they must relialise ??).
Anyone else having these probs ??
Any suggestions on what to do ?
James ???
They are silly then as BT themselves inform the old ISP that you have migrated away the same day they do the migration. Ask them to look in "eCo" and they will see that date you migrated away. It's to do with you being on LLU - they obviously have not double checked.
Orange are the worst at saying you are still with them - sometimes even after months.

If you know you dont owe them, and cancelled your DD with them just leave it. Its their problem. If they take you to court they will look stupid

James - Pipex the worst. 1 year after leaving people still getting payments demands:D They have even been known to reinstate a DD (which is against the law) to try and take the money. Thats why its best to cancel with the bank

Thanks guys.
No dont owe them a penny all payed up.
Direct debit ive canceled with the bank so they cany take any monies.
Thank **** im away from that shoddy outfit. lol
when you migrate then you still probably have to give the old ISP a bit of warning that youre leaving. ive had to pay up the remainder of the billing month on the last couple ISPs ive migrated from. if you notify them by email that your migration has been completed then cancel your direct debit then youve done everything you can. i wouldnt trust BT to tell them on your behalf!
