bought a new printer which would wirelessly (is that a word? it is now). however when going through the simple set up, it asked me to push the AOSS button on my wireless router...yeah right.

why cant i buy something that is easy to set up these days?! :confused::mad:

AOSS (AirStation One-Touch Secure) is exclusively for use with Buffalo routers and
"does all the tedious, technical stuff for you" apparently :p

I prefer to setup my own wireless security settings, if only so I know what it is doing.

My moto: "If it prints - hardwire it, if it routes - hardwire it, if it is to produce pleasant sound - hardwire it, if it tries to escape .. etc etc" :)
