Hi, I have been monitoring and trying to optimise speed since connected on 7/3/07 and have been averaging around 3.5 to 4.5 mb since started which given the cabling in my flat I am quite happy with.
My line profile on bt had always been 6000 however today I came home and was unable to connect. I called entanet and service was great but I was a bit miffed to find they had blocked my line without notice after 7 days because they had not recieved my direct debit mandate despite charging me the first month up front.
I changed to recurring card and can now connect again but my speed has dropped to just under 2mb and bt speed test shows my line profile has been dropped to 4000.
My router shows following stats.....
SNR Margin: 16.3 20.0
line attenuation: 28.4 31.4
data rate: 4864
Latency: Interleaved
Previously SNR was approx 10 & 15 annd data rate was 7150, do you think I should concerened about this apparent downgrading yet as I am still in the 10 day training period?
