I'm trying to log into a specific web site and it's saying my IP Address is banned.

Is there anyway I can change my IP Address?

no, you have a static ip address...

your best course of action is to contact the site admin and tell them to un-block the address...

it because the addresses used by adsl24 have only just been made available. lots of websites or hosting companies block addresses that are not available... they just need to refresh the blacklists...

you can check your ip address against the usual suspect here (http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticpages/index.php/is-my-ip-address-blacklisted)

I have used the site before but because my uploads were not as hefty as the site requested I got banned.

I have been given a new invite but on trying to re-join it says my IP address is blocked :(

thats hardly surprising if you didnt follow the rules of the site .....the site requires you to share files not just download them ,seems you been classed as a "leecher" and not a "sharer" best bet is to mail the admin and explain the situation say it wont happen again and see what happens .especially as i believe if your invited by someone and you do that kind of behavior then both accounts risk being canceled

Thats the problem ive had with a forum i used to go on.Im sure they have banned the whole bloody range .they said it was only my IP Addy that is banned not my account.

Thing is they said that my IP Addy might have been used in the past by someone who abused it which i find hard to believe.

Even ADSL24 gave me a bunch of IP's to use but each one was banned straight away as soon as i tried to log in.
