Hi

Having this problem for several weeks, appears to be getting worse, I had a linksys wag54gs to start with when problem started there tech support agreed it was faulty so am waiting for replacement currently using belkin f5d7632uk4a problem continues, disconnected ext lines and have only two wires in old type BT socket, tried 3 different filters and three different phones, quite often when you make or receive a phone call broadband light goes off and comes back on also drops broadband randomely . i have spoken to tech support who say it is a voice line prob, i have spoken to voice line supplier company called yourcalls.net they say it is a broadband problem, both have offered to send engineers but say if problem is inside house / my equipment i will have to pay.

Please Help.

Hi Ron

It sounds a bit like a High Resistance fault, but my understanding is that these are normally indicated by a customer having to get a dialling tone on the phone before they can get the ADSL to sync at all ... yours seems to be the reverse of that.

Was it Enta tech support that you spoke to? And have you opened a ticket with ADSL24 support yet?

Others have had similar problems to yours previously, which often involves an engineer visit to correct ... just have a quick search of the forum.

If you have tried different filters, different modems, different phones and by-passing internal extensions already your going to have to bite the bullet and book that engineer visit .. its unlikely to sort itself out.
