Just phoned pipex to have my mac code sent to me even though i still have 2 months left on my contract with them it will be worth paying them off.:D :D :D :p

I'm gonna get my mac from pipex today too.

Got a letter today saying they're gonna suspend my service. Pfft.

At least if I sign up here I knoow exactly where I stand with regards to bandwidth usage, no vague FUP.

Full story is on thinkbroadband forums, but basically because I apparently am using my connection too much for a home user, they're going to suspend my account.

Not that they can actually say what the connection limits are to this vague and incoherant acceptable use policy. How can you adhere to something if you don't know what it is?

At least here I have set limits and know exactly where I stand, and can view my usage online, which is something pipex don't offer.

Yep real dumbos,they were quick to take the 2 months remaining direct debit from my bank today,wow lightning.:p :p :D :D

I phoned on wednesday for my mac,still waiting but on thursday they took the remaining 2 months direct debit,thats the quickest i have seen pipex move.:D :D :D :p
