I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge as of why I couldn't connect yesterday for the whole day, I turned off the router multiple times throughout the day for different length periods, deleted the ADSL24 profile and re made it, checked all cables / settings etc but to no avail. Then this morning at 8am it just started working again!
I have the log below, it always was the same error of Chap authentication failed.

Router log;
FW Watchdog is Enabled

DSL Carrier is up

Has your exchange recently moved to WBC? This can occur when it makes the migration from the 20cn to the 21cn kit.

Beginning of this month it did; nothing to worry about then. Anything I can do if it happens again, or just sit and wait ?
Thanks for the fast response :)

Hmmm, thats odd, shouldn't have cut out like that now.
Happen again phone the support guys, make sure you know if you are in sync or not as it makes the job easier, test it in the test socket behind the master and that is pretty much everything (unless you can jump over a fence and steal your neighbours router to test to make sure everything internal is ok).
It may have been just an exchange blip.

Although CHAP auth failed meaning either BT's RADIUS wasnt passing the data correctly or there was an issue with the enta RADIUS auth server, we didnt hear of anything like that though...

I had trouble with not being able to log on yesterday. I rebooted my router at about 5pm and it stuck at authentication. I had a good sync.

I rung Enta support and they raised a fault with BT. I left my router on and it finally managed to connect at about 5am, although I wasn't around to witness it! First outage I've had in nearly a year with ADSL24.
