Me and my boss have signed this and i have posted it here as i would like this to be a big issue, as i migrated to Entanet to get away from unfair internet services and i think its right that they come down hard on companies advertising unlimited broadband when in fact not. I was with Toucan unlimited broadband last, and if i went over 1gb in a week i got reduced speeds yet it doesnt state these usage allowances anywhere. It cost me £69 to get out of the contract and if i knew these allowances i wouldnt of gone with them in the first place, so i strongly agree with this petition.

That's exactly why I moved from Toucan to ADSL 24 myself!
I wish you all the best of luck with this petition and hope to see action being taken against the many ISP's that are all in the same league as Toucan/Tiscali etc. etc.

WannaPoo aka Orange (spit) did the same to me joined on an unlimited account with no mention of any kind of cap at all not even in thier FUP policy all that said was do downloads late at night between 12 midnight and 8am (which i did)

8 months into my contract i got a warning letter saying i was over my allowance of 50 gig ? and if i didnt cut down i would be kicked off the next month i was 5 gig over and was booted off and had to pay the connection fee "as i was in breech of contract" yet up till then there was still no mention of any cap at all they even sent me a letter to ask me to call thier premium rate number for a MAC code after 20 mins of going from dept to dept i was then told my line had a cease on it and no MAC would be available so that was another scam it seems

all these so called unlimited accounts are a advertising scam and should be stopped but knowing how this country is going i doubt it will happen

its quite refreshing to come to a ISP that answers emails and the phone and that can actually understand you if and when you do need to contact them and is up frount with everything
