Hi guys,
As per previous thread, my ADSL24 Office Max 45 is due to go live today (28 March). I have just logged into My Account again and it's still showing BT order status as "awaiting activation", but the activation date is still showing at 28/3.
Do I need to go home and switch the router settings to ADSL24 before it'll recognise as order complete, or have BT not switched it over yet?
Just trying to save myself a 30 mile trip if I don't need to make it lol
Cheers,
Lee

No, you don't need to do that. When you get home just log in with your new details and you should be able to connect up. Don't take any notice of the status page as it often takes a while to update but it doesn't mean that you're not already activated :)
Yep, most activations can be up to 8pm on the day of activation - it just depends on BT's schedule for the day at your exchange.

Mine was at lunchtime on the activation date. It just depends.
Do they go to your individual exchange and twiddle a few knobs ?

A visit to the exchange isn't necessary if it's a migration between ISPs on the same product type.

Don't give up Barry everything comes to those who wait.
It's just that some have to wait longer than others.

Cheers m8,wish i had your confidence,as i've had nothing but problems since i got tangled up with Netservices and all the offshoots they have im really not confident at all :(
Yes Barry they creased me up good and proper last Nov and Dec, bided my time with V21/Biscit then ran like Linford Cristy on 13 Feb. The worrying thing is their connections are much faster than Enta resellers have a look on James site there are patterns emerging.
