I have just noticed tonight that I am on Global switch 1 and getting 2.8 meg on testing.

However I am normally on central 1 where I only get 2.2, 2.3 meg on is there any reason why one is better than the other

Not that I am complaining mind:D

My profile is only 3meg so 2.8 is great

Only bad thing is global 1 drops performance at 10pm:(

The loading on the 3 Centrals will tend to vary. BT uses a 'Round Robin' system of allocation to the Centrals so it's not uncommon to see poor load balancing. It makes sense to keep an eye on the Enta NOC (http://noc.enta.net/) page to see where the load is lightest and best speeds obtained.
