This is the log from my speedtouch 585V6 for the last 3/4 months I have been running rock solid at 4800kbits downstream however this weekend I keep loosing my connection and have to restart my speedtouch.

I have kept connection solidly at an snrm of 2 so not an issue.

Just wondered if anybody had any ideas what could suddenly be causing an issue after so long being solid.

Has there been any pipe issues this weekend.

I have been enjoying the speed on such a poor line just wonder what it may be

Thanks in advance for any help:)

What was the weather like? We had thunder and lightning in the area this weekend and my connection was up and down like a fiddler's elbow. Don't forget that your line acts like a big antenna and a lightning strike several miles away can knock you off, particularly if your line goes overhead at any point.

Thanks for the reply we had bad rain but no T&L so waiting to see what happens

Just so annoying as I have a bad line and getting 4meg has been great.

Will have to see
