View Full Version : Damn! I've just gone over my peak limit...
I feel so foolish.
I could have sworn when I checked my 'usage reports' yesterday that I had plenty spare. But I just tried checking with Entatool & it reports that I've managed to slightly exceed my 30GB peak limit.
So what happens now? Do I just get automatically charged extra? If so how much?

As shown on http://adsl24.co.uk/broadband_home.php:
If you go over you allocated usage amount there is a one-off £5.88 admin fee plus the difference to the next plan.
£5.88 admin fee and the difference between the package you are on now and the next one up. So i would thrash that connection and use as much as you want/can..
BAH! Just beaten!
OK thanks.
But just to make sure - I'm on the 'Home 30' package, so I pay £10 + the £5.88 admin fee?
Which means I've now got an extra 30GB to play with during peak times & then everything resets back to normal at the start of the next period?
Correct. You now can use up to 60GB peak and 330GB this month (don't go over that!!) and it will return to 30GB/300GB next month.
And the extra off-peak and yes :)
ARGHH beaten again!
Thanks for the clarification.
I certainly won't be making the same mistake twice!
