ADSL2+ killed upload speed

Early days yet I know. I got regraded only about 29 hours ago but as the subject says my upload speed is now dire.
My ping to all gaming servers has also increased by 10-15ms from what it was before :(

while i can't help directly I remember when Niftywolfie's exchange moved to 21cn network he had a similar upload problem (although he wasn't adsl2+ enabled although he did see some great download speeds of between 13 - 30 mb on his 8mb connection;) )

Hopefully this might give James a clue/idea of a way to solve the prob though was what i was hoping

We can't see anything obvious but ADSL2+ is so fresh (only got launched on Tuesday) that there could be a few underlying issues that cannot be seen yet.

We've logged with BT but it will probably take time to resolve. We have other people on ADSL2+ so it's not a global problem but an isolated one which makes it even more difficult to find the problem.

I'll update you when I can. As posted in the other threads (please keep to this one now) can you test your upload speed to an FTP server and also try the http://speedtest.bbmax.co.uk test and also let us know the results of a BT speedtest.

I also ran one on the Thinkbroadband tester and got the below resuilt

Tried the BT one and couldn't get on as after clicking on the go button it kept coming up with an error message.

Authorisation failed Incorrect Telephone Number - Please try again

Why that is I've got no idea. It even had me doubting my sanity and I ended up asking my wife to tell me what our phone number was :D
